I was in Anchor Point all day, left here at 1805 qnd went to Homer and spent the evening with the Bear Clan, returning to the home base at 10 pm. Since that time I have not left my office. Who wree yur huse guests? Wasn't someone complaing about not seeing a manager scene on a corner? Hmmmm, I might have stumbled upon a clue!
Arrived home safely, dspite the heavy snow that Homer received in the past 24 hours, my tire tracks were still visiable in the snow from when we left. Shopping spree went good, in and out, light traffic and not that many people in the stores, we were out of town by 1300. Your mother got her tv, she found "your" stand for it and a 42" screen to sit atop. I also got my new camera, finally made the decision and I think a good one. It was a toss up between yours, so I could learn from you and the Sony. I selected the Sony because it does have the Lithium battery. After getting home, I discoverd that some of the adjustments and seetings are identical to the Sony I got for your mother, even the batteries are the same so we will have plenty of batteries charged and ready. It is the Sony DSC-H9 with a 15x optical zoom and 3,200 ISO. Did not realize it until I read the booklet, you can also get a wide variety of extra lens and filters for it - even has a remote control. Tomorrow, I put it together and go out to play, but after getting the shots that I got on our way into Anchroage with the little camera, it is going to difficult to have that opportunity again. Thanks for everything, had a great time and the "survival box" did make it home, but stopping in Soldotna to pick up a snow machine sled for Daddy Bear, evidently they rubbed together in transit and by the time I got home, both locks had been worn through and laying on the floor - but I did not peek!
I only borrowed him as you were at my house Christmas Eve and Christmas day...I did not want him to get lonley...I hear he is safely back in your manger with the headless King....and thanks Coldfoot for taking my side...hehe
