Scavenger Hunt

I have been working on a side project all month. I found this group of people and have been working hard trying to get my 26 things for January. I have had a blast doing this, my goal was to just complete the Photo Treasure Hunt, but I found a lot of good shots and learned a few new tricks. The group posted 26 items to take photo's. I found it was a great way to get myself back into photography, I can't wait till the next list comes out. Here's what I found.

  4. That is neat, some great shots. I liked the bar of soap! Thought about you this morning, they showed small portions of the "Dorito" ads that will be on the Super Bowl, all shot by ameatuers. One that was shot cost $13.00 (price of the Dorito's I would guess). Could be the "wave" of the future.

  5. Just wanted you to know that I did get back into your site, evidently a glitch with the server. It is hard to find good help anymore.

  6. Got a phone call from Ranger Bill, parked for the night at Grand Junction. His route was taking him through Beaver, Utah (as usual), it is only a three hour drive so I expected a blog from him this morning - evidently he got occupied in Beaver or he ran into another deer. Picked up his load in Denver but ran out of driving hours by the time he got to Grand Junction, now why it took him 14 hours to drive from Denver to Grand Junction, I am not sure. The last time I drove it, it took me 3 hours and 35 minutes. It is a four lane interstate the entire way! I checked my atlas, a run from Denver to Chicago does not go through Beaver, Utah! He visits Beaver, Utah so often that he is the only "trucker" that has a designated parking spot at the truck stop.

  7. That does look like fun. Your shots are awesome. You do have an "eye" for photography.

What kind of camera are you using?

  8. I am now using a Canon Powershot S3IS ...and am loving it so much that everywhere I look is an opportunity for a photo. I had a hard time not pulling it out yesterday at work, Kids are so fun to shoot.
