A great shot Heidi, that is mountable and might add "saleable", however, your label is wrong. The "Blue Moon" is not due to rise until May 31st, which will be celebrated at the HITWRA. The moon in your picture is the "Full Snow Moon". Aft4er this moon, your next opportunity for a moon shot will be on March 3rd which will be the "Full Worm Moon". If we lived anywhere else south of here, wwe would be seeing the first robins during this phase of the moon. It is also known as the "Full Crow Moon", a total lunar eclipse will also take place during the "Full Worm Moon". But, you did capture a great shot! A note to "Real Eyez", the moon that you saw tonight is the same moon that was there last night, you see thre is only one moon.
I just returned from running up to the store to pick up the daily receipts, the moon is spectacular, I was driving by the neighbors house and the "moon" shot was fantastic but by the time I got my camera out, she closed her blinds.
Brittany says when your good your good...and you would not have posted it if you did not like it...now I want to see the rest...oh ya...when your GOOD Your Good.
Sister that is an excellant picture you should enter it in the contest at the mall in February...it is durring the Fur Rondy...or was last year anyway...you should check it out...it would be worth the 50 dollar table...bet you and your hubby could win and sell a lot of your works.
Let me be the first to say...GREAT SHOT!
ReplyDeleteI took a few pics of the full moon too and none of them turned out that good.
I like how the new blogger works when you click on the picture it shows a bigger picture than before.
Nice Picture!, I love pictures of moons. Tonight's moon was spectacular!
