OMG...disaster...devastation....
The attitude in my house was as if we were doomed and needed to break out the survival kit. Today the phone rang and we had to rush back home... you see a snow machine knocked over something important and we lost phone service and the INTERNET....FOR DAYS!!!! What did we ever dooo??? John ran to the internet cafe' ...to play mobsters.... and then we celebrated Byrd's 11 birthday, shopped, math homework, played life, watched a movie, moved into freshly painted bathroom, washed all the hanging clothes and hung them in the new bedroomcloset, lots of good ol' famliy stuff!

Sounds like it was a good day...tell Byrd happy bday,.my heart still twings in Nov and Dec because those were always bday party months. Do me a favor and ask Byrd what she thinks about us doing a small "something" in the yearbook since the girls are moving on to middle school...also I signed up for this tree of caring and saw you said you would help. To date I have heard nothing..I have emailed the PTA president..no response so not sure what is going on. Say hi to all...
ReplyDeleteone more thing..if they dont want to do anything..that is really FINE..no worries...I just dont know..I cant believe 5th grade is almost 1/2 over...been really hard for some reason..
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what fun things you can find to do when the internet is down or the cell phone service is interrupted so we can not text? Modern technology is great, but sometimes we allow it to take over some of the more important aspects of our lives.
