We made it safely home, despite the monsters we encountered.

  1. Crazy things happen to those that visit the "Dawg"! Great two weeks, did not realize until today that we were near exhauastion. I was so tired I was hallucinating, I have heard of the cow that jumped over the moon, even heard of flying flying pigs and I know for a fact that Santa has reindeer that fly, bnut I ain't never seen no flying moose, until we captured one when he acciently flew into our satellite dish - well, I did not find him the repair man found him. We did gather enough energy to go into Homer and pick up supplies at the general store, thought it best to get my truck washed at one of those new type car washers, only cost $12.00 but it really did not clean up that weell, the manager told me the wash will remove mud, road tar and even bugs off the windshield but whip cream is tough to get off because of the fat content. I guess in time it will wear off. Sorry that I could not provide more fresh King Salmon for your, family but at least you got a good taste and enough to make a good seafood chowder. We couldhave had more if the other "gathers" would have gathered. The HITW is quiet, waiting for hte next arrival, thanks for coming and all the effort that you put forth.
